About the Opportunity:
The Service Sales Account Manager is responsible for owning a portfolio of contract renewals. You will manage a large territory while partnering with internal stakeholders to secure every renewal, warranty uplift, and applicable software upgrades. It is the Service Sales Account Managers primary function to secure and maintain the renewal revenue by improving on customer success rates. Working with your customer to lock-in the most favorable terms, identifying growth opportunities and improve service outcomes. Service Sales Account Managers are responsible for ensuring customers are set up for success while maximizing the financial results of the Service Team at Oxford Instruments.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute win/win negotiation strategies for small, medium, and large account contract renewals that maximize contract value while protecting and enhancing customer trust
Maximize account growth opportunities by playing an active role on the account team and helping to identify incremental opportunities upon contract renewal
Own, drive and manage the renewals process in collaboration with the Customer Success Team
Collaborate with internal resources such as the Service Manager, Service Sales Manager, and Head of Services to develop comprehensive strategies for renewals and generate growth
Demonstrate strong account management to drive renewal to on-time closure
Develop and execute a territory plan to grow business within assigned territory
Develop in depth knowledge of service and support offerings (service contracts and support plans) to proactively uncover new opportunities to generate growth
Accurately maintain/update a rolling 90 day forecast of your territory and communicate any renewal risk to internal resources to develop resolution strategies
Achieves financial and strategic targets set by management
About YOU:
The right candidate will have 5+ years of demonstrated success in a Sales and/or an account management role, strong customer management and negotiation skills, the ability to sell warranty uplifts, time and materials conversions and negotiate multi-year contracts and the ability to work in fast paced, high volume, and team environment .You must be a self-starter with a customer service orientated mindset and proficient working with a CRM system to facilitate lead qualification and advancement of the sales cycle. SAP experience is highly preferred.
